Hey guys im looking for a JL 1000/1 to run my 10" W7. Im currently running a JL 500/1 on it but hooked a 1000/1 about a week ago and it was loving it! Reason I want JL is 1-to keep it all the same and 2-because its a single 3 ohm sub and JL amps run there RMS between 1.5-4 ohms. I may be open to another amp that can give my sub around 1000 watts but would really prefer a slash 1000/1.

That's far too much work with not enough reward to warrant the risk. It would be one thing if I could just go see it working, pay for it then ship it. But I have to take it to a shop to test it. And I'm not buying anything without seeing it work off CL.
If you pay with paypal and the item doesn't work, you open a dispute. Paypal will instruct you to send it back with a tracking number. Once the item has been confirmed as a delivery, paypal will give you your money back. You really have no risk in the situation.

Its all good, no worries

I don't think you understand the scenario. I will be the seller to the OP once I take possession from the seller on CL. I'm sure the seller on CL is accepting cash only and as is. The risk is from the seller on CL. There's just not enough in it to make it worth my wild. It's going to take at least two hours to drive there, test it and drive back. I also drive a gas guzzler so the $50 of potential profit would be eaten up by gas, packing material, shipping cost and paypal fees. I've had disputes on paypal and its not as easy as they say. I had someone sell me a counterfeit set of golf clubs but I thought since I paid using paypal that I would be covered. It took over two weeks of disputing and paypal said they delivered the item even though it wasn't as described. I wanted to return it with a full refund and paypal said I was only entitled to a partial refund. I settled on keeping it and taking the partial refund bc I figured I'd sell them later and make up my losses by selling them but no one wants counterfeit golf clubs even if you make it clear from the start and offer them for a fraction of the costs. I still have them, two years later, and they are still in their protective plastic. Ebay will give you better protection than paypal. Ebay even paid the return shipping charges when I had a dispute on a different item.

I have a Rockford Fosgate 800a2, it will do 1100rms at 4 ohms bridged. Will probably do about 1400rms+ at 3 ohms bridged. I will let it go for $200 shipped if your interested! Great condition.
