okay so is a 8' or 6' aero???? what do i need???? my box is

31' long

20' deep

14.5 tall

im running four 10's (they have a jl w6 first generation motor)

and i will be running 2000rms

so what aero and how long does it need to be?

also how long does it have to be also....

4s would be longer but not too long. the one 6 would be shorter but not enough port area with just one.
2 4s would be ok port area. not great but decent. and are only 11.8 inches rather than the 27 inch 6s he would have to guid through the box
I dont see how you can 2 4" will have enough port area comared to one 6" aero the 6" aero has more port area do the math

1 6" is > than 2 4"

oh wow im dumb i just realized what the hell ur talking about. yea one 6 has 28 inches, 2 4s have 25 inches.
lol okay so one 6 inch aero port and it needs to be 11inches long if i remember right? and the flares are 5inches by themselves...

look, your not sure if this will work very well. instead of paying for psp ports just go to home depot and buy some pvc pipe. thay way you can test it and make sure you like the way it sounds without spending a ton of money. then if you know itll work for you then go get the nice flared ports.

that being said, one 6" IS too small. when air is forced through a small hole the volocity of the air is very high. this gives you port noise. it also makes an inefficient box. i have a 4^ft box and i wish i could do more than 2 6" ports.

dont think that just because one guy did something that its correct. you have several people saying that you are going to have too small of a port. listen to them. if it wont work then make a slot port and forget the aeros.

LMAO man I was hoping you wuld get what I am saying. I ran one 6" aero for 2 12's on 1500rms and tuned to 33hz and the box was 5.65 before and 5.35 after all the disp never had a problem and sounded great.

If you can do 2 6's or 6" min or even a 8" possibly may be too much port area. I think the 6" will do the job figure 8-10 per cube for port area 4x8 is 32 u will have around 28 so it should work

the flares might be 5 inches by themsleves. i just know the 4s are 3 inches each. but if u use 1 6 it needs to be 12.08 inches like i said earlier in one of the posts.

final answer: ONE 6" AEROPORT KIT. MAKE AERO PORT 12.08 INCHES LONG, INSTALL, JAM OUT!

well i had a different designed box but around the same air space and used a 6' PVC that was 10' long(supposed to be 36 hertz) and it hit WAY lower than my slot ported box tuned to 33hertz. so my 33 played higher and sounded better when the pvc box played way lower why is this?
