WTB a 14 volt battery

What does this mean?
If you test the battery with a dmm after you unhook it from the car and let it sit for a little while, it should read around 12.6-12.8ish. When it's hooked up in your car, your alternator charges it up to about 14. There are 14 volt and 16 volt batteries, but those are for guys that compete in sound offs competitively.

Ok so there ARE 14 volt and 16 volt batteries just not something im really gonna need unless im goong into like a ridiculously low load or something.

Well if you use a 14 or 16 volt batt in your car where the electrical in the car (lights and all the stuff that's in a "normal" car) isn't made for it, you'll fry it. If you look at high end amp ratings you'll see they rate them at 14, 16 and 18 volts. Power ratings getting higher for the higher voltages.
