I have two RE 8's now and want to replace them with newer model speakers i have the box in my sig with an old school U200x on them so max power at 4ohm mono.

True Bass Solutions, Ultra 8. $100 each shipped contiguous US. Dustcaps can be color matched to the install and TB logo can be as well. Its hard to see the video unless ya make it fullscreen. I did 141dB at the kick with a single in 1 cube @ 40Hz in a Scion TC with 1600watt Burp. I run one daily in .8cubes @ 33Hz with 600RMS to it and it does 133@ headrest with music.

What are you looking for?

Something that is comparable to my RE 8's nothing uber loud im past that. I just want a new pair cause mine are like 3 or 4 yrs old and i gotta get a surround fixed that came loose so might as well just buy a new pair.

Its hard to beat the True Bass subs, whether you wanna run SQ or beat your brains out they'll do it. The vid was just to show they will get loud, louder than most other 8's on the market, they also sound phenomenal, ask pangullo, the white ones in the pic were custom built for him (in white) , as would be yours, built fresh, brand new and torture tested for perfect alignment and stability beyond rms rating (250rms by the way). I've been beating mine as a demo since aug last year with 600rms off a XX zeus @ 4ohms (Re 3.6ohms) Dual 2 and Dual 4 available. Oh yeah, and they are re-conable so $35 rebuilds one. They are actually geared more towards practicality and functionality than pure spl, the BL product shows that with only 14TM! The FS is lower than ost SPL drivers as well, and only one soft spider instead of a multi-spider pack or stiff spiders. I tell ya what I got a used one hre if you'd like to try it out, I'll send it your way for $60 shipped, its the one in this pic (the wife's car. lol) The ones in the video are in a 1 cube @ 40 enclosre its setup to get loud, I'd reccomend .6-.8 @ 33-38Hz for daily good musical reproduction.
