Well my system got stolen so I'm having to start over...

I need an amp for my components...

The Only restrictions:

Must be under $300 if 4 channel, $200 if 2 channel... If it is worth more you have to be willing to take a trade for some of my nice components //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

be under .1% THD at rated power.... under .01 is a very real plus //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Not to be over 150 watts into 4 ohms.... or under 50 watts into 4 ohms unless there is good reason for the whole under bit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

thats all rly... Send me a PM if ya make an offer btw I'll get back to this thread more quickly //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I'M SO INSULTED!!! haha -- kidding //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif -- anyways... any idea what is wrong with it? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Not a clue, I can't see anything on the board that's fried, the fets are fine best as I can tell. Goes straight into protect. Worked the last time I had speakers in my car (extremi, for image testing purposes) then last week when I was going to verify that it worked to sell it, it was going into protect.

I don't need it, I just got new amps for my frontstage, cosmeticly it's ~a 7

Have a multimeter? I can help ya figure out if it is an easy fix or not //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif -- Odds are one of the transistors is dead... if you have a multimeter -- measure the resistance across the transistors -- a dead transistor will usualy act as a short and should read 0 ohms... if its a group of transistors.... odds are they used transistors rated right on the edge of safe... If I was designing an amp I'd use 2x the required rating atleast... like ZED //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif -- those are some solid amps... Think you can check that out? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif thats what this kind of thing usually is...

Speaking of which; the Zed Gladius fits your bill nicely. Rated 75w x 2 @ .08% THD (rated 95w x 2 @ .8% THD) for $199/$209+shipping (depending on how you pay).

Just thought I'd throw that out there //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Yea I know //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif likely what I'm going to do if I can't find a trade of some sort... or just a great deal on the forums... I still have a little time to burn... I don't get my dash replaced till the 8th and even then head unit power is OK for a little bit... CDA 9833 has a little more RMS power than most heads atleast... even if it is only another 1.76dB lol...

I'll try and do that tomorrow while I'm waiting for resin to cure.

BNIB diamond audio d5600.2 $180shipped... $5 more for paypal.. sorry //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif.

150x2 @ 4 ohms .03 thd(pretty dam close //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif) if ya wanna know more lemme know.

Very possible we could work out a trade as well.

o_O wow that is a nice amp haha... I'd just have to stick a DPL7 set in my car afterall... I about talked myself out of that since it was going to be a little shy on foot room with 7" speakers in the kicks in my car... I'll definatly take it if we can work out a trade of component xovers + a little money for it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif -- hey if I'm using a 6ohm load I may be able to use the power wire that is already in there though for the component amp (8awg) //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif looks like I talked myself back into the PL7 for now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
