Wow...just got back home and

that sucks man, my old apartment was broken into a couple yrs ago while i was home on thanksgiving break, took a bunch a games, movies, my bike (which i brought inside because i though it would be safer than being on the bike rack, my dumbass didn't lock it to anything). They also got a couple guns (my roommates are hunters) and a few other small things, but they took some of my home stereo equipment and put it in front of the door, so i'm thinking they were scared off early.

I'm super paranoid about my car getting broken into though, in the last yr 2 people in my parking lot have gotten there cars broken into, one of them being my roommate (he doesn't have shit in his car, all they stole was a headphone --> cassette adapter).

Now i have renters insurance, additional car insurance for my car audio equip, and my 2 way alarm, and i still feel paranoid about it. Its not all about being able to replace the shit they stole, its the feeling you get when you get home and you see everything they tore through, and all your personal shit just thrown around.

I know its basically a sin to come on here with this without pics, but I dont have a way of gettin any right now...
my house was broken into while we were gone...so far we can tell they took an xbox 360, an amp (bxi2607), and my LMS Ultra....cool. oh and my dads camera (which i would have used to take pics for u guys...), nice high end camera...my dad's pretty into photography

I had two other subs in my room right next to the ultra they didn't take, and they would've been much easier to take...

they didn't touch the garage or the cars in it, and the TV was sittin on the floor in the living room (brand new, higher end) it looks like they got scared and bolted or somethin cuz they were clearly preparing to take it..

they rummaged through like everything in the entire house...clothes...everythin just thrown around, so we're not sure yet if they took anything else, except a few pieces of jewelry (they didn't find the good stuff)

this's some gay shit.

really sorry to hear man. i'd feel pretty violated if that shit happened to me.

exactly...im still kinda fresh from when someone broke into my car in like june or may, so I didn't feel it that much this time...more like wtf are you kidding me..? and just pissed at the whole house like upside down...imo based on what they took it looks like they had an idea what they had come for and just tried to make it look random by going through everything else...

i woke up this morning and looked around my room and went 'fvck that shit really did happen...'

Let me know what the outcome is with your insurance. I have the motor right now, when I get the parts again to build an 18" LMS you get first grabs on it before anyone else...sound good?

btw for anyone wondering im pretty **** sure it had nothing to do with my neighbor, so im left thinking some random thieves just got lucky

then again they probably just offed the sub real quick for a hundred or two...

they took quite a bit more, that's just all i knew of at the time, cuz that's my stuff that i could obviously tell immediately was missing

ive since found out they took quite a bit of my moms jewelry, some computer equipment, dads expensive camera, and like i said were going after the tv, and they took some other stuff that im not remembering right now...a watch/chains of mine/etc

basically almost everything in our house worth anything...(or at least tried to, ie. the tv...), and they didn't touch the cars, which I'm guessing is because they didn't want to risk setting off any alarms or anything, but i know at least my dads keys were there, mine were with me.

one thing thats odd in my situation, is that they stabbed my water bed...YES, stabbed my waterbed....ruined my carpet and subfloor.....

My house was broken into in 2007. It was a smash n grab as well. Front door kick-in style.

My room is right next to the front door where the office would be. I had 4 kinetik monsters, an MM4000.1 amp and my computer and stuff all sitting on my desk in plain site with my doors open.

The theives ran to the back of the house where the actual bedrooms are and snatched my moms jewelry, a laptop, and a stereo. The alarm was not armed, but it does chime when a door open, so the police think they thought that was the trigger and they had little time. Or else they would have seen the gear in my room on the way out.

But yea it wasn't too bad. Renters insurance ftw

And we got a new door lol

I would keep a look on ebay and craigs for sure. Also drive around to your local pawns all this week
