Wow...just got back home and

That sucks, you need to get an alarm. It is not cheap but will probably send most people who do break in leaving with an alarm going off.
Ironically, no. People use the car alarm to break into the house. I was reading it in the paper where some people "broke" into a car and when the owners came outside, they beat them up and then ransacked the house. Had they stayed inside, the thiefs would have just stolen the car.

you would have to be a little retarded to go confront someone stealing your car and be totally unprepared.

on a side note that sucks rashaad.

someone broke in to my house this summer. they didn't know that the 2 huskies in the back yard have access to the house, via the doggy door. i actually gained 1 shoe, and a blood stain on my carpet. wish he would have dropped his wallet.

It didn't give the specifics....just that one of the people was waiting at the door with a weapon and struck the guy with a blunt object when he went outside. What did happen is that he had his keys to turn off the alarm. That is how he lost his car.

I don't know if the guy was young or old, didn't say.

reminds me of the story of the robbers in Texas that tried to break into the old couples house and they came up to the door and tried to break in...the old lady took the gun away from one of the robbers and shot him.

I also think there's a good chance its an inside job...idk, you tell me, you see three subs, one is quite a bit bigger than the other two, but also takes about 10x the effort to carry and get out, assuming you have no knowledge of what the subs are worth, do you take the two that you could carry one in each hand and stroll out no problem? Or do you take the one that's gonna take two people, and drag it and drop it along the way struggling to get it out for 10 mins? There are several pretty significant scrapes in the wood flooring so I can tell they struggled with it...whereas the other two subs (a 15 and a 10) would have taken no effort at all

just got off the phone, deductible on our insurance is 2k...we might get SOMETHING back but...not much...how does the value of things work such as a rare item like the LMS? does the new price have anything to do with it? Added value because it's not really replaceable? Or is it just what you paid?

Sounds like my great-grandmother. When she was about 60, she had someone break into her house, and she chased them down with a .38 to try shoot them and shot one of them. Don't know what happened to them though.

Yeah it was about 5 miles from my house. She killed one, and I think she shot the other one. No charges filed either...you gotta love Texas.

When I get my car alarm and if it goes off, I am coming outside loaded and prepared to shoot.

They depreciate it..Or at least they did in my case.

i know how you feel. I lost a $1,000 in car audio equipment and had to spend $400 getting the damage to my Blazer fixed. Sucks cause you just can't do anything about it really.
