i usually try not to go more than 10 mph over the limit

like if it is 60 ill do 65

although i was doing like 85 in the strip before crossing the tappanzee bridge going into the city from upstate.

25 over in Washington is almost certainly reckless driving here, and thats about 1,000 dollars. Either that or neg, but you'll most certainly have a court date to go to.

I wouldn't complain if I where you.

Wrong. It's a ticket in the $250 to $350 zone. The only way you'd get a ticket that high for speeding in WA is if you didn't have insurance along with the speeding. Unless you were driving like that through downtown or some smaller street, it wouldn't be reckless driving. Try again.

Ummm I don't know about eastern/mid US but in CA you just sign the ticket and then you get your bail amount in the mail.

anything over 20 mph here in arkansas is an automatic suspension of your license of how ever long the judge decides, as well as a pretty heavy fine. Also, IIRC if its your second offense, its a felony...so consider yourself lucky

in new yorkif you are doing 31-40mph over you get a 300 dollar fine and 9 points on your license

if you are doing 41+ your liscense is automatically suspended for i think 6 months and it is a 400 dollar fine i believe.

In ohio you can be going over 100mph and only get fine, I remember reading a story in the newspaper about it.

yeah, about 4 years ago I got a ticket for riding my quad in a field near my house, that ticket had the amount written on there.

For the moving violation though, I received a notice from the court like I mentioned. Who knows

I got pulled going 90 in a 55 plus careless and reckless. It didn't have a price on the ticket, just a court date.

You're supposed to get your license taken away but I paid a lawyer $350 and still had to go to traffic school. I think he ended up getting it lowered to 73 in a 55 so that the traffic school would take care of it.

I say it was was worth it because my insurance didn't go up and I still have my license.

Like I said.. I see now that Mine was pretty good for what I did.. But I'm still mad at myself for doing that for no reason..

REally I'm just mad at myself.. But I do dislike the "hidden fees"...
