was running sony xplode 200 rms/channel sterio into 2 12s 4 ohms. Never was happy with output. with your guys help I went ahead and bridged amp and just hit one of the 12s. Hits harder than the two 12s in streio. Amps supposed to be 500w rms bridged. Just bought another same amp to now run the other 12. This thing should rock. On a buget!

When I started a year ago, most people said I should run mono and that is what I should have done to begin with.

Weird thing is subs rated at 400 w rms,I think mabey 200wrms, not sure. They are kenwood w3009s. So far with the amp bridged into the one sub and amp at claimed 500w rms, sub seems fine. really crankin.

bridging the amp does in esence trun it into a mono setup. Right?

Some two-channels have a switch.

Some mono-amps have four terminals, but really only one channel.
