WOW.... everyone read this--- wow....

some of you might not belive me,, but this is true.... its still in my car, ill take pictures...

my 4 12s blew, so i was left with a 1200.1 and a 4 ft cube box thats ported at 44 htz,

i was at my friends house, hes runnin 2 e12ks and his brother has 2 HX2s, anyways..

as a big joke we went to walmart and bought 2 road gear 12's thinking we could spend a couple hours hooking them up and making fun of them, anyways, we spent like 43 bucks on the 2 12's,

we stuck them in that box with a jbl1200.1 and turned the gains up about quarter way up and turned it on, and it was decently loud, impressively loud actually....

then we burned a CD with a sound sweep on it, and holy sh!t was it loud, we took it to a local car audio shop and had it metered and it hit a 141! that was with the gains turned up alot though, and i didnt play it long cause i knew theyd blow any second... but still, thats crazy that with a huge box and a good amp anything will be loud, and the SQ was decent enough that i listened to music the entire ride home (2.5hours or so). its crazy,,,anyways. i was just impressed, cause i figured wed be laughing at how UNloud theese were.... its crazy... anyways, that was my fun for this weekend...haha...

I wasn't aware people actually bought those. I was starting to figure that they were just empty shells made to resemble subwoofers.

2 12's hitting 141db..not bad...the road gear subs was my first sub, mated to a road gear amp. needless to say, i returned the sub the same day. not that they **** or anything, but my box was..well..it ain't a box.. but that was when i was 13 or so. didn't know much.

**** dude. Now thats fukkin amasing. I remember having an Urban from ames.........that thing made tha mid bass slam.
