As was said above. If you are using a 2 channel amp, there are very few models which will handle 1ohm stereo or 2 ohms bridged. Therefore if that is the case the idiot at best buy may have been right. You can't stereotype installers because of where they work. You went there didn't you? I currently own my own shop. But everything I've learned in the past ten years has come from an installer who now works for best buy. He is the only master mecp installer in Indiana. Talk to him and call him an idiot when you're done. When it comes to 12v electrical knowledge he's the best I've personally ever met. Not just a test taker either, her can apply every bit of his knowledge.

for all you idiots who think im wrong, i do have an amp thats stable under those conditions. i was working hence why i didnt respond. the bestbuy guy didnt even look at my setup before he said it was impossible which is why hes an idiot.
