Unless it is an Ebay sale, there is NO protection regardless of the addy.
Personally, I think you gotta take that chance on this one.If you had a problem with it from the get go and refunded then, there wouldnt be any issues. But with you holding out for 2 weeks, it would be really shitty for you to hold his money hostage for 2 weeks and he still doesnt get anything.

There is protection outside of Ebay if you ship to confirmed. I don't know where you get that from. I have already won a claim by proving I shipped to a confirmed address and it wasn't an Ebay sale. You are mistaken. You have no protection if you ship to anything but confirmed though EVEN ON EBAY.

I have been doing PP and ebay for a long time and have learned the hard way about many things. Do what u want but i wouldnt ship unconfirmed for the same reason as ur saying

well its not really going to be bad feedback for giving a refund, at least I'm resolving the situation. I know I should have taken care of this sooner, but I've been too busy and out of town, so I should have just waited to take payment until I could ship, I know, my bad, but I'm not scamming him, so I'm not too worried about giving him a refund, and would rather do that than be out a game and the money....

If its off here? Even if he doesnt get it he is probably screwed. I never heard of anyone off here winning a paypal claim when they didnt get their item

i made a sell with him i sent him both of the rings i had for 230 shipped and just did a tracking number and insurance and shipped to that adress, and he was saying the tracking number wasnt working and it wasnt until 2 days after i shipped it out and then he seen that and it was fine after that so just get tracking number and ins

I had a deal like that on ebay, the guy changed his adress to win the bid because I wouldnt ship outside the US and he was in Canada. He told me after the auction was over that he stayed in Canada and I told him he was going to have to get to the confirmed adress before they returned it to pick it up because I wasnt shipping anywhere else and the people at paypal told me that I didnt even have to ship it too him at all since he falsified his adress nor did I have to refund him his money. Everything worked out alright though but if he wouldnt have made it I would have got a free 500 bucks

What are you talking about? I know he wants it shipped to the Texas address.... other people think that I was shipping to the Mexico addy, which is ot the case.

yeah his problem until he files a claim and paypal automatically takes the money back out of my account because I didn't ship to the confirmed address on his account. So WTF are you talking about?
