Would you recommend this Kicker amp?

I have 2 CVX 12's dual 2-ohm voice coils, and I did have a MTX81001 amp, which has recently died on me. Powers gettin to amp and remote wire...after 2-3yrs it just died...R.I.P old friend. So I'm in the market for a new amp and would prefer to get Kicker to match the speakers. I was looking at the Kicker ZX1500.1 at this site http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_7302_Kicker+ZX1500.1.html .

Do you think this is a good match for the speakers I have? If you have any other recommendations plz let me know and I will check them out.

if you are liking to get kicker. they have a 2500 that would work better. esp since the rating on those subs is 750 iirc. and it will give you some headroom

I've got the same setup with the zx1500.1 and two cvx 12's and it freakin pounds HARD!!! The 2500 would be nice, but why spend twice the money to only use half the amp?

Thx for responses...still learning towards zx1500.1.....the 2500 wouldnt fit where the space for the old amp is atm.
