I bet I have gotten 50 PM's so far about the Icon Test Box
there is a little more to this box than just the shape.....the port area is tapered

along the whole length

I got a bit more playing to do but when I'm finished I'll be offering this design ....

I find that having a (4 woofer) loaded V design like you are planning can work well BUT....

if the angle is to steep on the V the inner and outer subs will sound out of phase

from each other and will produce a noticable muddy note overlap....

this does not happen when only two woofers are used in a V formation

well i was only going to do 2 in a loaded V, but yeah i was one of the ones who PM'd about the design too, the results were sick with 2 10's!

I tried a box like that. It did ok. Considering I was running 13 w6's off a AQ2200 it did a 140. Not bad.

but as I think Ed said, its not the best box for spl. Sounded good.

W6s arnt the best spl sub either, so it worked out...lol.
