Would this way of wiring an amp work?

Usually amp install wiring diagrams suggest taking the audio signal from receiver to the amp, and then connecting the amp to each speaker using new dedicated wiring.

I want to install a 4-channel amp in my van with an after market stereo, and factory speakers. Please note that I do not have mono-amp or a dedicated sub-woofer in my setup. I am wondering if this alternate wiring model would work: To avoid having to run wires from the amp to each speaker, can I take the outputs from the amp, and then instead of running them to each speaker, patch them back to factory wiring harness to corresponding cables which are going to each speaker anyways. Yes, it means that I have to run cables from receiver to the amp, and then from amp back to the receiver area where main wiring harness is. Do you see any problems with this approach?

Thanks.

it will work. instead of you runing new wire you want to just splice into the existing factory wire Yes that is fine. one thing to consider is the wire is limited to power transfer but if your only taking 100 watts no worries..

So long as you severe the original connections coming from the stock amp/stereo it should work unless you're sending crazy amounts of power over the thin stock wiring.

What's your aversion to running new wire?

Wat about factory amp ?
I am total new to this, but I think there is one. According to: 2007 Kia Sedona Car Radio Wiring Instructions

Car Stereo Amp Trigger Wire: Pink

Car Stereo Amplifier Location: Under the Left Front Seat

I have put in an after market stereo (https://www.carjoying.com/2-din-car-gps-navigation/2015-latest-joyingr-au-warehouse-aftermarket-7-inch-quad-core-android-4-4-4-kitkat-car-head-unit-audio-stereo-radio-in-dash-gps-naivigation-system-full-screen-as-tablet-for-double-din-universal.html) because the original factory stereo did not have any of the modern connectivity (line-in, bluetooth, USB, etc.). However, the sound from the new stereo is seriously lacking. For example, I have to turn it up really loud to get any amount of bass. The original factory stereo had very decent sound. I was scratching my head over this too.

So, here is something else I was thinking: may be the original amp's trigger (pink cable in the original factory harness) is not being connected/exposed through the after-market wiring harness (Metra Part # 70-1004 | Kia wire harness | Hyundai wire harness | Metra Online) so I was also thinking about connecting the amp trigger wire from the stereo directly to the pink cable in factory wiring. Yes, it would mean patching a cable from the stereo direct to a factory cable bypassing all intermediary wiring harnesses. Do you think that is a sound approach (no pun intended)? It would save me from having to buy and install another amp...
