would this sound bad?

would it sound bad if i had no door speakers and only had rear speakers that were above the subs but seprated by the top of the seats. betwean the back window and the seats there is that space they would be there and the subs would be in trunck with the seats down facing towards my back. the distance from the rear speakers will be about 5 inches further then if they were in the door. but would this sound bad because they are so close to the subs? and no door speakers

1997 ford escort sedan lx. the problem is the mounting depth in door is 1 7/8 inches my speakers are like over a inch deeper. and if i build out the window crank is in the way.

Only way to avoid soundwaves interacting before reaching your ear is to listen to headphones.

I assume you are going to have front speakers, correct?

well to build kick panels how do i go about it? i cant fiber glass. does it just have to be a sturdy peice of mdf attached to the door?
