Would this wiring be right?



The amp is a hifonics 1500 BX.

The Subs are Alpine Type R's (Model 1221D) at 2 Ohms and DVC

The real question I have is if you can connect two wires to one terminal like I did on that 1st terminal.

If there is a better way to install this then plz do tell. One thing to keep in mind is that the two subs are totally separated in the box and have there own chambers.

you could only run that amp at 2 ohms then and that amp will only put out 1000 watts at 2 ohms whereas if you get 2 4 ohm dvc's you can run it at 1 ohm and get 1500 watts rms.

these subs each have 300rms (600 total) so I really wouldnt need the 1500 that it actually gives out.

I have done research (well i would not call it research) on the subs, check out this link..... http://forums.caraudio.com/vb/showthread.php?t=77030&page=2 ....that gives you an indication of what they can handle

even though there are two pos. and two neg. u dont need to use all 4 right?

i could just use one of the positives and one of the negatives and go with the orignal setup i have up top rite?

You can do it that way or run a positive and negative from each terminal cup, and then to the amp. It doesnt matter if there is 2 wires in one terminal or anything.
