Random thought.....

If you were of-age to own a weapon (lets say a handgun)..

If you had a concealed carry permit...

All up to date with your licenses,

and lets say you were at a bar, or in a situation where you felt like you were about to get your *** pummeled by like 2-4 guys who are about to jump you, is it LEGAL to SHOW the weapon?

like say you're in a bar. 3 guys are tryin to get with your girl, you tell em to back off, now they wanna basically jump you. you know they are about to make a move, so you pull out your gun.

would this be legal as long as you dont use it?

I believe it would be legal to show that you are carrying a gun since you would have a permit, providing you honestly felt threatened.

Using it would be where the legal problems could mount.
