hey, i was wondering if it would be alright to connect the amp power wire to the remote jump start terminal on my car instead of wiring directly to the battery. the battery in my car is under the windshield washer fluid resevoir and a crossbrace and just to get to the terminal i would have to almost take out the airbox and everything...theres only about a foot of 8ga wire coming directly from the battery to the jump start terminal... power wire for amp is 1/0ga.

since it's only 8awg from the batt to the jump start post i wouldn't do it. You could upgrade the 8 awg to 1/0 awg from the batt to the jump start post, then it should be okay.
