Southeast Region would i have a chance at SBN 2009

hey guys so i just completed my system untill i get a ported box but i was wondering if id have a chance in any of the competitions for spl.....

i have a hifonics brutus bxi1608d 1600 watt amp pushing a single alpine type r DVC 4 ohm in 1 and a quarter cubes sealed box wired at 2 ohms to the amp so its getting 1100 rms... oooh and all this is in a 2000 nissan altima gxe... pioneer 6.5"s and tweets in the front doors and 2 6.5" insignia 4way speakers in the deck in the back.... with a JVC KD-PDR40 head unit..... do i have any chance in even rookie or the lowest spl ranks at SBN?

try some bass race, you have just as much as a chance as anybody else.

Straight out SPL depends on what organization, what class, who shows up, what dB you can do.

i first started out doing bass race 129.9 then 139.9 now i do bass boxing

and those symptoms are subjective- have you sat in any 150+ musical cars?

nah i havent sat in a 150+ musical car yet... im relatively new to car audio stuff

this is my first system butt..... the 1 is alot louder than anybody around heres 2 12s and i think im close to beatin out my friends 4 12" cvrs in her cobalt on a 3000 watt amp....

cuz hers up loud sound really bad and the box isnt that great quality.... but once i get my ported box i think id b able to get it.....

ooh ya i just played throw it up by lil jon and the east side boys chopped and screwed and omg it was louder than anysystem ive heard around here on 40 or 50 volume.... like gave me a headache and rattled my ear drums.... had to open the windows a lil

hmm so honestly should i jsut go 120-129 db? cuz i have no clue what kind of DBz i can hit i have no way of measuring...

oh ya for bass race can we use burnt cds or ipods? and can i use a chopped and screwed song? or waht are the rules for waht we can play?

haha alright lol so i absolutely love the fact that nobody that has heard my system has thought that i had ONLY 1 12" they all have thought it was like 2 or 3 12"s
