would i be better off with just front??

hey i am currently running my pgrsd with the passive crossover and my 6x8 in teh back of the truck to a acrunch pzi1400.1. i know im not getting 175 watts per chan so do you think i would be better off ditching the passive xover and just amping the front stage??? thanks for the input
