would a hifonics bxi1606d be right for a CVX15?

just like it says, my 15CVX does 1000 rms, and the amp would be giving it 1200. Would this be too much? its my first system

id say ure undrepowering it..and i doubt it ull be getting that much out of the hifonics...theyre a bit overrated

the 1606 should do 1200 w/o much trouble, and that should be plenty to get just about everything a cvx has to offer. Even if you assume the HF is 20% over-rated it will still do 1200+.

a cvx will have no problem with 1200 watts..been there, done that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I think the cvx starts to come to life around 1200 watts.
