Would a Fi Q do OK with 600 watts?

just to put this out there, one of the guys that did the ROE big 12 challenge said that at one time he had only 300w going to two q's and it did pretty good

As the title says, until I can upgrade to a bigger amp in a month or two? I have an Alpine MRD-M605, and I could send 600 clean watts at a Q until I upgrade to a new amp...

Unless you're planning to upgrade the amp soon, I'd go for an SSD with copper coils.
Will work fine, but if you're sticking to that amp for a while, I think the SSD might be a better choice

I read it, I just know plans don't always work out so hot. I would personally just wait until you get the new amp. There will still be plenty of Qs around in "a month or two". I see no sense in going this route unless you're getting a really good deal on a used Q

Actually, I might even just wait for the new Mag and then you wouldn't even have to buy the new amp. Just my two cents

Any decent amp putting out 1000-1500w RMS will be good for the Q though.
