A cap will likely lessen the drops from 14.5 to 14. However, it lowers the average voltage of what goes to the amp. It would work, but it's not worth it.
If you want to actually fix the problem, then a battery is a better way to go. Either a bigger one, or a second one.
While a cap will fix the issue you are worried about, I'm going to be completely honest and say it's NOT worth it. Not even for $20. That's such a small issue. A cap isn't needed. Honestly, a second battery isn't needed either. Don't bother getting anything.
