would 2200watts RMS **** a 15" XXX?

Thermally, it should be okay.

i meant to say 2200@2ohms... it appears those DEI Amps only have 90amps worth of fuses for 1200watts RMS don't see exactly how that works... but hmmm i might try it depending. better than 1200 watts. I don't have too much room was trying to decide on ported or sealed , i know the output on ported is good but dont think i could run 2200 watts to it ported, might go with like 3cubic sealed

right i understand that but wouldn't the amp need to be 'uberly' efficient to create 1100watts with 90amps?

u should be ok,the sub isnt gonna be seein that kinda power anyway, so i say go for it, but u may have some tinsel lead probs and may experince the "extra glue" smell, but other than that, u should be fine.

u should be alright with the 3 cube sealed, just don't push it with the gains

you dont have to set the gains for 2200 watts you know, you could do it for maybe around 1900 - 2000 watts
