worst cars to put a system in

both of those cars would scare the **** out of me
Doesn't really bother what I'm working on anymore hell my new 2011 cruze is a *****. No dash kit or wiring harness and the factory radio comes apart in three pieces: buttons, screen, and actual unit not to mention for what ever reason both front speaker wires run down the passenger side and the drivers side I thought they were pw pl but nope. On top of the ten air bags that seem to hide everywhere.

Surprisingly, my Audi S4 was super easy to install in...Battery was under the rear seat, which took easy screws to remove, and there's a pass through hole to the trunk that is easy as cake to thread through (not the center ski-pass, there's a cutout in the side). The problem is that it is a mostly sealed-off trunk, so I'm gunna go bandpass and port the box through the center pass. Currently, it's waaaaaay too quiet. I have 3 12's off 500wrms that can only barely overpower my factory rear speakers. Yeah, it's that quiet //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I hear that newer Mercedes with the Bose setups are super tedious to install aftermarket stereos in...The ones with like 18 separately amplified speakers, requiring you to rewire each one lol. My buddy was telling me how he had to do one but all the 8 or so speakers were powered by one amp, although he didn't have the pinout diagram, so he had to test each wire lead individually for each speaker...no fun at all lol

But as far as getting loud goes, I'm pretty sure that one of the worst, if not the worst car would be an MR2...Maybe a Lotus Elise/Exige, but who in their right mind would throw anything in that?

there's a volvo, i wanna say 2005 or so that doesn't have a kit for an aftermarket radio, would have to have a custom dash made to even consider it. I couldn't find anything at all on it, not even a products to integrate ipod to the factory sound system.

Chargers aren't hard to put a system in, but they are **** hard to get loud.

sadly in a few years all new cars will be like this

I've done a install in a Elise: two p2 8s punch 300 and a kenwood deck and it was by far o e of the simplest installs ever. The factory deck is aftermarket so pull it out and pop a new one in and the two eights were custom boxed behind the seats with the amp in the bonnet (front trunk compartment) really the exile is my favorite car and it's almost identical to the elise so maybe the mr2 is hard ???

'65 F-100 gas tank is behind the seat. There is a hump under the seat all the way across, so no under the seat mounting either. Dash is steel. Doors are ALL steel, including access panels. There is NO radio 'kit" made for it(jigsaw and plenty of blades and a steady hand). Came with ONE speaker in the center of the dash. All speaker placements have to be fabricated. There is no insulation or sound deadening of any type, tin-can acoustics. Basically, there is not ONE component that can be installed without fabrication. Any GOOD aspects to this vehicle?

I meant hard to get loud. Can't really fit much inside it.

And what's up with the P2's? If he spent that much on a car, he should at least get some better equipment...

He wanted Rockford and we couldn't fit anything bigger. I wanted him to go with some Id 8s but he always had Rockford so I sent him to a place near him to pick up a pair with the amp. And to be honest, to the ear that car was pretty loud now it wasn't load on the meter 127.4 DBs but he was happy and has sent a good bit of work my way. Hell I even but the punch comps in his doors it sounded good for what it was.

did a jaguar that had the gas tank behind the seat the only sound you can get is through the rear deck prety much so thats was a interesting one also a common car are the lil honda del sols some have the roll down window between the trunk area and cab and its har as well to get any sound in to the cab lol
I did a older benz had the same gas tank behind the seat .The guy had subs so i was just working with what was there.I would have went another route.dont see the pain in the 86 stang had 86 got 88&89....no radios tho..

My 2008 Kia Rio Lx 4 Door Sedan was a ***** to get the door panels off without breaking them but other than I like it because the seats flip down and I have just as much cabin gain as a crx due to it being a tiny *** car 2 15's on 3k will get retarded loud lol
