Exactly what I was going to say. I worked at a restaurant for 3 years in high school. I paid all my bills (cell phone, insurance, gas, food), and I owned my car which is a plus. I haven't worked since high school and still have tons in the bank. Now in college I pay for tuition, books, insurance, and gas.

Best advice ever => Ditch the crap you don't need and watch your spending.

I make $10 an hour plus commission selling "salvage." I havent gotten paid since july so I have some odd 5000 in back pay... And now since the store opened I get about 400 bucks a week added to that. We sell right now Target dollar items nobody bought for 49 cents.

If your job sucks, quit. Your work is an important part of you.

get a job delivering pizza. you make tips gas money and the hourly. all said and done i work 25 hours and bring home 450 after spending 50 bux on work gas for the week. not prestigious but very effective. its nice to be on the road relaxing for that pay. im gonna have to get a real job soon though.

I'm 19.. and I work at Wal-Mart. Started out at $6.50/hr and am now up to $6.90/hr(will take affect next paycheck //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif ). I am part time.. and see about 65-70 hours per check.. which is usually around $325-$360. Not bad I guess, fulltime would be an extra 3 hours per week of my life.. and I would beable to draw benifits.. (health insurance, life insurance, dental, 401k, profit sharing, paid leave ect. ect)

As of right now.. I'm a cashier.. kinda looking for a department job.. I'm trying to save my money so I can start college next year. I plan on staying at wal-mart for awhile.. (atleast till im out of school) because there are so many advancement possibilities.. I love the benifits.. the 10% discount card and.. we have a distribution center in our town which i'd like to transfer to. They start out at $14.00 an hour.

when I was your age i made 300+ bucks a week at a print shop by day

and bussboy/waiter at night which was all cash,so between the 2 jobs I was doing 400-500 a week and that was 20 years ago.

McDonalds,the only guy making money in that place is the company that sold the franchise to your boss

pathetic job and you should be ***** slapped.....Atleast if you gonna get pimped for minimum wage

go work at an icecream shop,its easier and the chics are better looking
