am a mod.
so he has a 2000 (or so) toyota camry. he just scooped a deck from CC that i swapped in there (iso mount + metra smart harness = teh own) in about 10 minutes. took longer to get the cage off and everything out of the plastic than to actually swap the radios
so then i put two sets of 5.25 next components in the front doors (i hate the toyota doors, because they use these gay white clips that break eaisly, and the stock speaker has some weird triangular basket, so regular 5.25's wont fit
then i put the mids from another set (with crossovers) in the rear deck - and the rear deck is also a *****, why cant they bolt the speakers from UNDERNEATH instead of dropins+screws... and i got a nice little 4 channel AudioArt oldschool gainblock (prolly like 25x4@4 or so) for him. it shwill pump up the volume a bit.
and today we made some glassed boxes for his trunk, corner boxes - looking mighty sexy, but since it rained, the humidity is making it take forever for them to dry - if its nice tomrrow and they arent solid, ill put them in the sun for a little bit.
i ordered a profileAP1000 for him. he is getting a pair of NEXT 10's - prolly like 160x2@4.
here ar esome pics, it should be fairly sexy when its all said and done. and im making custom tweet sail mounts for him when my plastic filler comes in the mail.
