Bought 5 scratch off tickets tonight and won 25 on one, 25 on another, 10 on another and then I hit 500 bucks on the last one. Spent 80 bucks total and won 560.00. Sucks though cause it all gets to go to bills:crying:

1) You are drowning in debt so you buy lottery scratch-offs (good job, genius!)

2) You got a pretty good return on your investment and you're whining about it (good job, genius!)

I think spending money on gambling when you're short on getting the bills paid already is a loser move. You got lucky this time but the odds are overwhelmingly NOT in your favor.

I am not looking for approval from anyone. I really could care less. As for the bill issue, the insurance payment wasnt a huge deal since I wont be driving my car until the motor and shit is finished. Therefore, not exactly a huge priority. As for me whining, I was merely stating it sucked since it was going to bills. I guess I should have added that it didnt have to as I could have payed them in about 3 weeks when they are due instead of right off. I apologize if I didnt clarify my post enough for you to thoroughly understand.

my buddy Dano in Buffalo, NY won 100k in a scratch off deal, but after the state taxes and all he wound up with 42k, then they tax him on the 42k next year as well, so he hasnt touched it until all is said and done. sucks that you would have to hit a 250k ticket to keep 100k.
