woofers optimized for sealed sq

well i will suggest the same setup i have for the sub. the Daytons are the cleanest sounding sub i think you can get for the price maybe even at a higher price point as well. get the 10, put it in a small ported box tuned really low and give it about 400-600 watts rms and you will be set. i highly doubt you would be disappointed with it. i was concerned with output once i ordered it, but once i got it installed it is more than enough.

will be hard to get my hands on them if i am not mistaken,
The Shiva-X is the re-released version, currently sold by DIYCable.com/Exodus //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

which is a concept I dont believe.
You should, because it's reality.

How low did you have your midbasses crossed over, and at what slope?

I understand the spider loosens, thats about it. how will that change the "sound",other than a slight increase in efficiency.

from what i remember we did an active set up with chameleon mids and vifa tweets

misbass crossed over around 125hz, customer insisted to let be.

Round Solobarics for a SQ sub //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif
//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif, to each his own. I am major sq guy to the extent that sq doesnt really exsist at "our price" range. I truely believe the X factor to sq is a result of build materials, which nowadays with a few exceptions are all rubbish and cost efficient

No wonder you didn't like it.

I wouldn't like any woofer set up like that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I find it weird that you disregard break-in and then say the hidden x-factor is materials.

I'll save myself and just second the recommendations made by Jim earlier.

Again i am nowhere close an expert here, this is just some thing that really makes my life that much more enjoyable.
