Im curious to know what everyone is using for gap spacing . . i was told i could use mylar sheets , stacked . but was wondering what everyone else was using . . thanx in advance

i use sports cards. and you can buy different ones that have different thickness. they have never failed me.

Sheets of paper, trimmed if needed, and as many sheets as the gap needs. This provides for equidistant spacing, keeps it as tight as possible, and is easily disposable... or reuseable if you want. It's generally readily available whenever you need it...

When you order coils they usually send you cardboard shims. I use index cards a lot though. sheets of paper on a really tight gap
