could you rephrase the question? do your subs sound like crap in your trunk or something? which way is the box facing?

Take an axe and put multiple holes in your trunk, the air will escape through them making the bass sound awesome.

I have a trunk car, and mine doesn't sound like crap. Maybe from the outside from all the rattles, but who cares, I'm not out there.

I have 2 sealed 12's(seeing 350 rms a piece) in my trunk - sounds real nice.

SPL isn't outstanding - but more than sufficient.

I am guessing he has his subs facing frontwards if it sound like crap.. been there. no bass barely, and horiible cancelation probs.
