Wood boxes better then Fiber glassed boxes?

So i had a question, does a wood box hit hard/deeper (all box designs/ports aside) then pure fiber glassed enclosure?

if you do enough layers.... then the fiberglass box should be fine, avoid straight sides as fiberglass tends to be weak when flat.

Fiberglass wont make it hit "deeper" or "harder". The way the sub sounds is purely install dependant and the way the sub is built. Fiberglass is mainly for looks or if you have an odd shaped space where you need to mount the subs. As mentioned above avoid straight sides. If you want to do a fiberglass box yourself, have fun!!! Its a good learning process.
