my HU wont play cds, it wont play NE CDs non-burned,cd-r, it will take in the cd then after awhile it will says cd eject, and it will eject the cd?????????????

Well, what kind of head unit is it? Is it relatively new or is it something you've had for a few years?

Just at a guess with the minimal bit of info you've given us I'd say the laser is either filthy and needs to be cleaned or it is possibly out of alignment and needs to be adjusted.

it is an old JVC El-Kameleon, but thanx for the info, last time i posted i got nothin in reply

actually, there used to be only one cd it would read, and it would get really hot after a while of playin the cd, then i would put others in and it would read them,

maybe its not capable of playing CD-R's / RW's

In his 1st post he said that it won't play any CDs, SSS, burnt (cd-r/rw) or otherwise. It just takes them in then ejects them on its own.

im probabley guessin that prowler is right about it being filthy, i do druve halfway to work on gravel roads every way, which is about 6 miles, and i live on gravel roads, and my car is very good at keepin dust and stuff out.......thnx 4 the info
