Miley Cyrus Sued Over Racist Photo (Lucie J. Kim $4 Billion Lawsuit)

A Los Angeles woman has filed a class action suit against Miley Cyrus, claiming she suffered emotional distress after the sixteen-year-old Hannah Montana actress mocked Asians by slanting her eyes in a recent photograph. Lucie J. Kim, who represents the more than 1 million Asian-Pacific Islanders who live in L.A. County, is requesting $4 billion in damages. Lucie believes when Miley posed for the photo, she “knew or should have known that her image would be publicly disseminated via the media, which Cyrus knew focused on her private life, specifically TMZ.” Every Asian or Pacific Islander in Los Angeles is entitled to the minimum damages for a civil rights violation, which is $4,000, according to the suit filed in L.A. County Superior Court on Wednesday.
