How many of you out there have girlfriends that actually like your systems? Mine don't in fact no one around me in my area that I know does. My gf is always mad at me because I spend my free time messing with mine.

They all think I'm stupid at 33 messing with this stuff. I enjoy it but I do have to say I've had a run of some bad luck lately. I have a new baby, only one vehicle and not much room. I'm wondering if they are right, maybe I need to grow up...anyone else had this problem? I'm just sick of it!

im married with a 2 year old. We have 2 vehicles. She use to have a pretty loud system. Probably the loudest female in our city and surrounding cities. She competed some but wasnt really a into that much. She likes going to shows and what not though. She knows i have my hobby lol.

I just build in my trunk and she has a trailblazer now. I build pretty much what i want and she doesnt seem to mind.

Though after Slamology last year she said when i got a different car she wouldnt mind walling off my honda accord i had lol... but we never did

Gabby is the only girl I've been with who really likes subs. Britton kind of did, but she wasn't super into it.

I hope I'll find a wife who likes it, lol

Your lucky bro, the thing is my mine isn't nothing like most people's on here. I'd still concidered it a budget system lol. It's not like I go into debt because of it, all my bills get paid.

My wife doesn't mind it, but isn't into it at all. She used to have a pair of 10s in her first car when we were dating, and then a pair of 12s a few years later, but never really turned it up.

She thinks it's stupid to have a bunch of extra stuff sitting around in the house or garage that I'm not using or going to use.

Partially, I like to collect stuff and gain experience with new equipment.

I collect for a while, then sell most of my stuff and buy new gear. Just sold and now I'm in the collecting phase again

You said grow up? Are you spending bill money? Are you living in the dark for a new amp? If you are spending your free money on your car audio Why is it a problem. Do she not get her hair and nails done and buy clothes are shoe. If she has more then 2 pairs of shoes she has too many shoe!! Everybody has their OWN thing!! LIFE is too short to be unhappy everyday because of what someone else want you to do. I'm sure it's thing you don't like about her, but you compromise and you deal with it. If it's not hurting the house do your thing BASS ON BRO!! I'm going to die a bass head bro if I don't die in my rig I want it to play outside the church until that mother sucker die!!

mine is a budget system lol... I think i have less then 550 in mine. I cant remember. i think i have like $500 in mine now, maybe alittle less

I will make this real simple. If it makes you happy, then do it. I had a girlfriend that hated it, it turns out she just wanted all of my attention 100% of the time. People need to have their hobbies. If you went to the gym for 2 hours a day, most women wouldn't have an issue. Spend an hour on the car and they get pissed off. Find someone that supports you, not that needs you.
