they wanted to charge me $1,000+ for damage to the carpet after we moved out. there was some damage but they replaced the entire carpet without even attempting to repair it or have it professionally cleaned, and wanted to charge me the full repair cost even though the carpet was 2 years old when we moved in. eff that i said, so to make a long story short, i sent them a detailed letter with a check for the full amount stating that if i did not receive 40% of the amount back as a refund, i would be filing several complaints about the management to the board of realtors for various things they had done to us since we moved in. got this in the mail today:
