so is this why my HT sub has a plate-looking thing surrounding the magnet, as opposed to some caraudio subs that have the magnets *****?

I would have to say the BM faired very nicely...Seems pretty effecient average SPL it was .03 DB behind the Q with 1/2 the power. The BM didnt do exceptional in the SPL Burp but 138.8 off 1200 watts @ 48 HZ aint bad..Plus Tied with the Q in the SQ listening test....Not too shaby!!! I would have to say that if someone had 2 BM10s for sale @ like 80bucks off new price and one of them was brand new the other was practically brand new....People would be fools not to buy the..........
