The Aura wanted at least 800w in it's SPL tests...... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifA lot of the drivers were tested at the limits determined by Loyd, Nick M., myself, Sean, Chad, and others deemed necessary without damaging the drivers. These drivers weren't "ours" so we tested them without blowing them (well, most of them anyway...heheh).
But yes, the graphs you see in SPL per woofer were the SPL results with that woofers RMS rated power. Some woofers had more power, others had less power. And for the most part (chime in Loyd, Sean, etc) RMS was pretty close to mechanical power handling for most of the drivers that withstood the 80 Hz on down ported SPL test.
Poor Aura. It pooped out when I wasn't even there. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif Didn't even make it past 75 Hz sealed. I would have loved to have seen it do better though. I have the 15" version of it and loved it ported. Now I've got four Mag 15's IB in my living room...so no need for the Aura anymore. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifThe Aura wanted at least 800w in it's SPL tests...... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
