I am having browser issues with ROE and it looks like I won't be able to access it at work tomorrow (I, too, have DoD computers)

I was hoping I was an idiot about my Pioneer. I feel somewhat validated when I locked it up @ 1.2k watts, that it's mechanical handling ability just wasn't there.

I am still a big fan of the SSD. In my applications, the SSD > Q.

Hopefully, someone will donate some AQ HD3s...I am curious how they fare

hey, how come subwoofers were tested with different wattage? were they tested @ recommend rms and then that + 200 watts or something?

is this all the woofers you will ever do? or if you get a hold of more later down the road will you test them? Im sure alot of people would like to know the results of a brahma or tc-3000.

A lot of the drivers were tested at the limits determined by Loyd, Nick M., myself, Sean, Chad, and others deemed necessary without damaging the drivers. These drivers weren't "ours" so we tested them without blowing them (well, most of them anyway...heheh).

But yes, the graphs you see in SPL per woofer were the SPL results with that woofers RMS rated power. Some woofers had more power, others had less power. And for the most part (chime in Loyd, Sean, etc) RMS was pretty close to mechanical power handling for most of the drivers that withstood the 80 Hz on down ported SPL test.
