the charger is a sports car //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gifFail on Dodge's part... I'd never want an automatic "sports car"
Hence the quotes //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifthe charger is a sports car //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
i mean, yeah, the old ones. but the new ones, i would hardly consider them to be a sports car... no offense to the car, just calling it what it is.
you should also mention that getting a second amp IS NOT doubling the power...Big improvement... better step towards your goal.
In all reality, just to let you know...
Doubling of cone area = +3dB (So, 2 15's... to 4 15's)
Doubling of power = +3dB (so 2500 to 5000 watts)
Remember this is in absolute IDEAL conditions, the MAXIMUM you would ever gain. You will NOT gain this... just an //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif This is just so you realize you ideals/goals.

INdeed. Especially taking into account the same electrical system.you should also mention that getting a second amp IS NOT doubling the power...
This pretty much sums up what you need to do. I will also add that you should do a smaller box (as ng recommended) than you would normally do for daily. Small boxes + a lot of power tends to work well for spl.Well, if you want above a 150 legal on the dash, youre going to have to change a lot of things.
First, get another zx2500.
Second, build the box so the subs and port fire into the passenger area of the car.
Third, seal off around the box so no air can get into the trunk
Fourth, get more batteries.
Fifth, test test test on a termlab. Then when you're done testing, build another box and test again.
there's no set formula/equipment to hitting 150 dB. Especially in a trunk car. If it was as easy as that, then everyone would be hitting 150 dB.
If you double your power in theory thats 3dbs...If you double your subs in theory thats 3dbs so do both if everythings right it should be 158.5dbs goal acheived....to break a 160 you'll need to either double amp power or subs again...Good Luck //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifi have a 2006 dodge charger and im currently hitting 152.5db but i want to hit atleast 157 but the goal is 160! i currently have a zx2500 hundred so i prefer to stick with kicker amps since i already have one, ill just add more if needed. so please give me some suggestions on subs, sizes and quantity. if u ever seen the charger or 300 trunk, u no what im working with. thanx
