So i'm looking on craigslist and there is a 40$ amp
Sony explode 500 watt XM-504z it is 4 channels, it says it is not bridgeable.
the spec says I can run
RMS Power at 2 Ohms 60 W x 4
So if i wire my subs to 2 ohms, and connect it to 4 channels would i get 240 RMS or just 60 RMS for each sub?
Also the other amp is a kenwood KAC-x522 it says it is
RMS Power: 165 watts x 2 chan. @ 4 ohms
RMS Bridged Power: 505 watts @ 4 ohms
It says nothing about 2 ohms, so would it fry the amp if i wire it to 2 ohms? Also if it is 505RMS at 4 ohms, how much RMS would be pushed out if my subs are at 2 ohms, and would this be safe?
I can get this sub for 80$ off craigslist, please help me out.
