wiring two amps

You can just connect the remote to amp one, then connect a wire from amp 1 to amp 2.

Or you can split the original remote wire, so one wire goes to amp A and one goes to amp B. Kinda like a Y-splitter.

what kind of wire should i use and would i just wire it from one remote hook up to the other on both amps?

is the original wire 2 wires in one?

You can use 'remote wire', or any small wire, like 18-24 gauge speaker wire would do you great.

The original wire is only 'one' wire, you would have to splice in a second one if you want to do it that way. I think just jumping the two remotes from amp to amp would be easiest.

*example: Take remote form headunit and plug it into Amp A. Take a small 20gauge wire and plug it into amp A where you just plugged in the headunit remote wire. Then, connect the other end to amp B. Enjoy both amps turning on. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif*

sometimes though you will not have enough voltage to turn on both amps in which case u will need to use a relay.
This can happen, but with 2 amps you'll be fine off of most headunits. Majority of headunits support 2 amps on the remote lead. And splicing the wire doesn't reduce the voltage, it reduces the current I believe. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.

But yea, basically just run the remote to the first amp like normal...then take another 18'ish gauge wire and put it in that first amps remote wire terminal with the original run of remote wire...then from there connect the other end to the next amps remote wire terminal...but if you have another amp ontop of that Id suggest using a relay...but just for two youd be perfectly fine //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
