Wiring two 4ohm subs into 2 channel amp missing channel

I'm in the process of hooking up my two Sony Xplod 10" 4ohm 1200 watt subs into my old school Pioneer 760 watt 2 channel amp. The problem is that two of the screws are missing out of the amp. Is it ok if I hook it up like this (below)? I'm not sure if this two channel amp will support the 2 ohm mono operation since the two 4 ohm subs wired in parallel will present a 2 ohm mono load to the amp. Thanks for any help.

Any one? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Trying to get this hooked up before it get's too dark out here.

that amp will almost immediately shut down @ 2 ohms

i use two of those in my 95 Grand am to run the 6x9's in the rear deck, one for each channel

The rms power on those is only 380x1 @ 4 ohms

your amp is probably hot as hell and slowly killing itself. bridging a 2-ohm load on a 2 channel sony pioneer amplifier is not a good idea. If it was me I would wire the subs in series and bridge the 8-ohm load, not as much power but at least its safe.
