yes and use a rubber gromet in the hole, you dont want a car-b-q

what size wire? if its small enough.. you might be able to get away with running it on the side of the hood and through the door

but bets bet is to drill a hole in the firewall and make sure you use a rubber grommet

Yea, thats Ghetto though. If the wire gets snagged and eventually stripped of the coating it wont be good...

go to any auto parts store and get a pcv grommet. they come in a variety of sizes and are all less than $3.

unless...

you come up with an invention.. wireless power cable adapter.. you place one end at the battery and the receiving end at the amp and it transfers power wirelessly..

that would sell so fast.. could make a fortune..
