Wiring three dual 2ohm subs down to 1.3 with 1ohm stable amp? Power loss ?

If I wire three dual 2ohm subs down to 1.3ohm using

the12volt.com's wiring calculator,

Will there be much power loss there since my amp is

1ohm stable, with the 0.3ohm difference?? I know that

wire can make a difference. So there's proly going to

be more resistance than 1.3 More like 1.4-1.5ohm

So will the output of the amp be affected much //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

hooray for more dumb questions!

yes it will be effected. How much? between impedence rise, and the amps actual power output, no one can tell you.

edit: you dont even tell us ANY information regarding your setup either. thats helpful.

hooray for more dumb questions! what the F***Almost Every body

here Is rude U cant post one thing with out having at least 5 people

down u here

The amp is a hifonics Bxi 2608d what else do u need to know

That amp is rated for 1700@2 & 2600@1 so 1.3ohms on it should probably give out about 2300, that's just a rough guess. It's common sense really, just look at the amp's stats.

we'll your talking about power loss, running 2300 RMS, but I hear nothing of your Electrical yet

you watch your mouth little mister!

use common sense man. There are far too many variables to know exactly what will happen.

As stated above, all you need to do to get a ROUGH estimate is look at the stats and find a ratio of power around 1.3 ohms.

If you cant figure that out on your own, you should find another hobby.

to the op

alot of people on here will not give good answers to dumb questions. to us who have been around audio for a while, your question is rather dumb and there are to many varibles to involve to give you and exact answer.

but for someone starting to learn or doesnt know alot yet, your question is looking for an answer.

the varibles we would be looking at, is what amp your running (you already answered that), your subs, what size wire your running, and your electrical upgrades will help us give you a better answer

now if you just wanna know if its ok to wire it to 1.33 ohms, then yes it is ok, but you will not get a full 2600 watts out of it, and with that amp it is not efficient enough to ever put out 2600 watts. without knowing all the varibles i would guess you will see around 1800 watts @ 1.33 ohms

Thanks for the replies I bought 3/0 power and ground wire from the local welding shop

And im looking into a extra batt dont know what kind yet and the alternator is a stock 105amp

max i thank

Ok look Im sorry for geting mad It was late and I wasn't thanking

Iv been lookin at getting new sub for 3weeks now every night and

It driving me crazy. I know that was a dumb?? I could have figured it

out my self if I really wanted to. Thanks
