Wiring these new sony shits....

Well i got the new sony pentagon amp and its a mono amp with 2 channels that are like this

Or something liek that, its a mono amp with 2 channels. And i have the new pentagon sony 12" that are SVC 4ohm coils. Now how could I wire the 2 SVC subs into the amp so it sees 2 ohms? If the wire each sub to each channel regularly it only sees 4 ohms right?

So its mono block amp?

If thats the case then the 2 channel wiring setup on the amp is just to make wiring easier. The channels are paralleled internally so if you just wire up one sub to each channel normally the amp should see a 2 ohm load.

that is correct...also, why in god's name would you go from a type R and a bazooka amp (which is a very reasonable setup) to a sony pentagon sub??? that's crazy if u did....just reading from ur sig. peace

Are those JBL600 good? He got sonys cuz CC had it on sale and he got a warrenty so 2 years from now and any time in between if he wanted he could trade his shit in and get nething he wants, and he can blow it all he wants and always b able to trade it in. Thats why i bought my shit from CC

Those warranties only cover certain things, also almost anything you buy brand new it has a warranty, just not circuit city. A lil tip too, circuit city tends to have their prices much higher than other places.
