I have never wired a second battery before. Right now i have a yellow top under the hood. I am going to be buying a hc2400. I already have 0 gauge to the back. Can someone tell me or give me a link to a detailed place to show me how its done? Thanks

You wire them in series to the front battery. Be sure its + to + amd - to -. If im not mistaken this way gives you double amperage, where as if you go + to - and - to + you double your volts which is what you dont want at all. Im gonna run 1 1/0 for + and 1 1/0 for -.

Also fuse accordingly within 12 inches aft your main battery and 12 inches before your 2nd battery. (2 fuses on 1 wire in between the batteries if thats a better visual) For my 1/0 im doing 250 amp. I believe 1/0 has a 300 amp max (not to sure) but I fused mine at 250.

Series would probably ruin your day. Right idea, wrong name.

Ok let make sure i got this down! ) gauge wire from front to back battery with a 250 amp fuse 12 inchs before second and 12 after first battery. Than a power wire from second battery to disturbiton block than from block to the amps?! No need for battery isolator or any thing of that nature?

Yes.

You dont need a battery isolator unless you like to play your system alot with the car off.

well who dosnt like 2 sit in their driveway/park/parking lot and get blitzed to some tunes:cool:, gas cost too much to run the car all the time

Yes, the alternator will just see both batteries as 1 huge one. It isn't very smart //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

No it's perfectly fine, It's the only way. I meant the alternator is not very smart, it can't tell the difference between 1 battery or 10. Lol, I was just making a joke //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif
