wiring subs

On the bottom of my RE audio SE 12 its says 2ohm on both voice coils. Does this mean that each voice coil is 2 ohm or that together the voices coils are 2 ohm.

Each one is 2 ohms, so you can wire it to either 1 or 4 ohms.

If you're wiring the 2 subs to the same amp, then no.

Also if ive got 2 pairs of terminals for each sub would i not use 1 if im going for the 2 ohms?

What do you mean? If you're wiring both of your speakers to one amp and want a 2 ohm load, then this is how you wire it

yeah i understand that but ive got two terminals. In the picture it has both subs running to 1 terminal. So does that mean i dont use the other terminal for anything?

The diagram shows a pair of 2 ohm dvc subs wired to a mono (1 channel) amplifier. If you're using a multi channel amp, that diagram most likely won't help you.

What kind of amp do you have? Tell us the model # as well as who makes it...

well for now i have a power acoustiks BAMF2000/D. Not the best but it will have to do til i get enough cash to get an audiopipe.

It's a mono amp, so the diagram provided earlier is fine. Just disregard the second set of terminals.

I wouldn't expect that amp to do rated power cleanly if I were you...
