Wiring Sub to rear Speakers?

I have a tc9 15" that I bought and then learned that my amp took a crap on me so now I dnn't have the money to buy an amp or at least been able to find one for the price I am looking for. So could it hurt the sub at all if I just took the wires(wired the sub to 4 ohms) where the speakers hook up? I mean if it could risk hurting the sub at all I won't mess with it but if its fine Ill do it for now and see if I see any difference in bass.

Disconnect the speakers that are attached and you will not hurt anything. That is ghetto as hell and you will probably barely notice it.
